Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, Edfu | Includes 5 Day Deluxe Nile Cruise

Day 1

Sunday. Depart the USA to Egypt. Your flight includes meals, drinks and in-flight entertainment for your journey.

Day 2

Monday. Upon arrival into Cairo, our representative will meet and assist in your transfer to your hotel. Balance of the day at leisure: CAIRO

Day 3

Tuesday. This morning a transfer to Cairo airport for your flight to Aswan. Arrive Aswan airport, transfer to your cruise ship or choose our optional full day excursion to Abu Simbel, fly (approximately 40 minutes) south and visit the Temple of Ramses and Temple of Queen Nefertari. Not only are the two temples located at Abu Simbel among the most magnificent monuments in the world but their removal and reconstruction was an historic event in itself ($295). Lunch on board. Sail on the Nile by felucca around Kitchener's Island and Agha Khan Mausoleum. Afternoon Tea. Dinner on board with dancing and music (B, L, D): ASWAN

Day 4

Wednesday. Visit the Old Dam now dwarfed by the New High Dam built to control the flooding of the Nile. Then visit the Granite Quarries and the Temple of Philae dedicated for the world’s most Famous Goddess Isis Sail to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board. Visit Kom Ombo temple, which is dedicated to the hawk-headed god, Harwar and the crocodile god, Sobek. Sail to Edfu. Afternoon Tea. Dinner on board with dancing and music (B, L, D): EDFU     

Day 5

Thursday. Morning visit to the Temple of falcon-headed, Horus – one of the finest examples of Ptolemaic art in Egypt. Sail to Esna, cross the lock. Sail to Luxor. Lunch on board. Afternoon Tea. Dinner on board with dancing and music and optional 'Sound and Light Show' at the Karnak Temple ($36) (B, L, D): LUXOR

Day 6

Friday. Cross to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens and Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Lunch on board. Afternoon Tea. Dinner on board with dancing and music (B, L, D): LUXOR

Day 7

Saturday. Disembark after breakfast. Visit the Temple of Karnak, the gate which was built by Ptolemy III, is still on almost perfect condition and view the Temple of the Avenue Sphinxes. Then explore the famous Luxor Temple in the heart of the city, rediscovered less than a century ago. Transfer to Luxor airport for your flight to Cairo. our representative will meet and assist in your transfer to your hotel for check in (B): CAIRO

Day 8

Sunday. A full day tour to Giza to see the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos, continue to visit the Sphinx, explore the Valley temple over which the Sphinx stands guard. After lunch, we proceed to Coptic Cairo, on the site of a Roman-Byzantine fortress town. Walk the cobblestone streets Visit the recently restored Synagogue of Ben Ezra-- the oldest Jewish synagogue in Egypt. On to the famous Egyptian Museum, an in-depth visit of the famous Tut-Ankh-Amon treasures is featured on this tour (B, L): CAIRO

Day 9

Monday. Buffet breakfast at hotel followed by a transfer to Cairo airport for your flight (B):
