Sunday. Arrive and transfer to your hotel. Later this afternoon, tour Casablanca. Your half day sightseeing includes the exterior of the Hassan II Mosque and the Corniche seaside. A short drive through the residential areas of Casablanca to the city center to visit the Mohamed V Square, the Habous quarter and a visit to the Notre Dame de Lourdes Cathedral (D): CASABLANCA
Monday. This morning, depart for Rabat, capital of Morocco, view the Royal Palace and the ancient ruins of Chellah, the Oudaya Kasbah, and the Hassan Tower. Travel through Meknus, stop to see the most exquisite entrance gate in the city walls, the Bab Mansour. Next, visit the ancient ruins of the Roman City of Volubilis and the exteriors of the nearby Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss (B, D): FEZ
Tuesday. Today a full day tour of ages-old Fez, considered the world's best example of a living medieval city. Visit Fez Jdid (New Fez), planned by the Merinids in the 13th century to incorporate the Royal Palace and Gardens and administrative center of the city. Visit the Jewish quarter and the Jewish Cemetery. Later, wander through the narrow alleys of countless souks (bazaars), tanneries, and remarkable Islamic architecture. Tonight, enjoy a Moroccan dinner in the Medina including entertainment (B, D): FEZ
Wednesday. Today, prepare for your day long journey from Fez to Marrakesh. Travel through Beni Mellal while experiencing the ever changing landscape of the Moroccan valleys and Atlas Mountains. (B, D): MARRAKESH
Thursday. Today a full day tour of exotic Marrakesh. View the towering Koutoubia Minaret, then visit the Jewish Quarter, then visit Dar Si Said Museum, Menara Gardens, and Saadian Tombs. Continue to Djemaa El Fna Square, where street performers, storytellers, snake charmers, and magicians create a spectacle to behold. Tonight, enjoy a Fantasia evening. Originally the Fantasia was a war ceremony, where the best horsemen from each tribe showed their skills on horseback. Experience a spectacular horseback display as well as traditional dancing and music. Sample typical Moroccan dishes, such as tajine or mechoui and couscous, under large tents (B, D): MARRAKESH
Friday. Today take a half day tour to Ourika Valley. Travel through one of the most beautiful valleys in the High Atlas mountains. On the way, see tiny villages scattered along the hillsides and the Ourika river. View the ruins of an ancient synagogue. Then visit a weekly market in one of the small villages, where the villagers buy, sell and exchange goods. Tonight, enjoy a farewell dinner at your hotel (B, D): MARRAKESH
Saturday. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight (B).
